Sometimes Grace Is Not Enough

On May 9th 1993 Mark Grace about 1/2 way through his 12 year stint with the Chicago Cubs hit for the cycle against the  San Diego Padres at Wrigley  Field in Chicago.  This is one of those games that it is very fashionable  for Chicagoans to say they were at.  I know I wasn't,  as it was the only year in my life so far that I did not set foot on American soil.  I was in Russia telling people about grace, but not the ballplayer.  God's grace is always enough.  The Cub's came up short despite of Grace that day losing to the San Diego Padre's 5-4.
